Heart of Christ Academy, located in Cypress, Texas, is a growing Christ-centered private school focused on partnering with parents to prepare students for both college and a life of kingdom service.
Founder and Head of School Tessa Andrews has been involved in education for more than 15 years and understands firsthand the unique challenges many growing private schools face. During a recent interview, she shared how her school evaluated different student information systems before ultimately choosing PraxiPower.
“When I first started looking for school information systems for our school, one thing that was important to me was ease of use, flexibility, and also cost,” Andrews explained. As a growing school, finding a system that could scale long-term while still fitting within budget was an important factor.
After speaking with other school leaders already using PraxiPower, Andrews decided to revisit the platform after initially delaying the transition.
“I will say that Praxi was the best decision that we could have ever made in our young school journey,” she shared. “The fact that it will continue to grow with us as we grow is really exciting.”
She also highlighted several day-to-day operational improvements the school has experienced since making the transition, including attendance tracking, financial processing, and creating student evaluation reports.
