When software companies decide what features to build, the process often happens behind closed doors. Engineers and executives brainstorm ideas, make assumptions about what users need, and release updates they hope will improve the experience.

At PraxiPower, we’re taking a different approach.

As a Whitehouse, Texas-based education technology company, we believe the best ideas don’t come from a boardroom—they come from the teachers, administrators and school staff who use our Student Information System (SIS) every single day.

That’s why we’ve launched a new User Advisory Committee, bringing together educators from across our customer community to help shape the future of the platform.

Listening to the Experts

Schools face unique challenges every day. Whether it’s streamlining enrollment, tracking attendance, managing finances or communicating with families, the people working in education know better than anyone what tools can make their jobs easier.

Instead of guessing what schools want, we’re asking them.

Our advisory committee consists of teachers, administrators, financial staff and other users who provide direct feedback on proposed features, identify workflow challenges and help prioritize future enhancements. Their voices are becoming an integral part of our development process.

Building Features That Matter

The impact is already being felt.

Recently, one of our customers requested the ability to send an email directly from within a specific area of the application. Our development team took the suggestion, built the feature and released it within days.

That’s the kind of responsiveness we strive for—not simply adding features because they sound good, but solving real problems for real schools.

The committee is also helping guide larger initiatives currently in development, including a redesigned user interface, expanded reporting capabilities, customizable enrollment forms and enhanced donor management tools.

More Than a Student Information System

PraxiPower’s comprehensive Student Information System (SIS), PraxiSchool helps private schools—including Christian schools and other independent educational institutions—manage enrollment, attendance, grading, finances, communication, donor relationships and many other daily operations from a single integrated platform.

But technology alone isn’t what makes a great solution.

The relationships we build with our schools and the willingness to listen are just as important as the code we write.

A Partnership, Not Just a Product

Education is constantly evolving, and so should the tools that support it.

By giving educators a direct voice in our development process, we’re creating software that reflects the realities of today’s classrooms and school offices. Every suggestion, every conversation and every piece of feedback helps us build a better experience for everyone.

At PraxiPower, we don’t just build software for schools.

We build it with them.

As our User Advisory Committee continues to grow, we’re excited about the future—and even more excited to see what happens when the people who know education best help shape the technology they use every day.
