A More Modern, User-Friendly Experience
One of the most noticeable changes is the continued modernization of PraxiSchool’s interface.
The updated experience is designed to make navigating the system more intuitive, helping users locate the tools and information they need with fewer steps.
Among the latest developments are new side-menu and navigation options that provide additional ways to move through the platform. These improvements are intended to make the system easier to use while allowing schools to become comfortable with the changes at their own pace.
Importantly, the familiar menu remains the default experience. Schools do not have to immediately change how they navigate PraxiSchool simply because new options are becoming available.
Our team is also developing additional display customization options, including color and readability adjustments. These features are currently in beta development, and some options may not yet be supported throughout every area of the platform.
As these improvements are introduced, PraxiPower remains focused on balancing a modern user experience with the familiarity and functionality schools depend on.
Expanded Accounts Receivable Options for Families
One of the most practical improvements addresses an issue that many schools have encountered when managing family finances.
Previously, PraxiSchool supported two accounts receivable (AR) accounts per student. While that arrangement worked for many families, it sometimes created challenges when schools needed to accommodate divorced parents, grandparents, scholarship providers or other parties responsible for different portions of a student’s expenses.
PraxiSchool now supports up to five AR accounts per student, giving schools greater flexibility in managing these situations.
The system also incorporates display logic designed to keep the process simple. Rather than showing every available account at once, additional account options appear progressively as they are needed.
This approach allows schools to manage more complicated financial arrangements without unnecessarily complicating the experience for families with simpler account structures.
Better Communication and Easier Access to Support
Communication remains an important part of effective school management, and several enhancements are designed to make it easier for school staff to get assistance and share information.
An updated online chat feature provides a convenient way to communicate with the PraxiPower support team. Users also have the option to submit a support ticket when their questions or needs require additional attention.
New feedback tools allow staff members to share suggestions directly, helping PraxiPower better understand how schools are using the platform and where additional improvements may be beneficial.
Improvements to announcement management also provide schools with more convenient ways to maintain and communicate important information.
These changes are part of a larger effort to reduce unnecessary steps, improve accessibility and make communication a more natural part of the daily workflow.
Additional Tools for Everyday School Operations
Beyond the more visible interface changes, PraxiPower has introduced a variety of enhancements to support the work that takes place in school offices and classrooms.
These include improvements to searching across fields, classroom grade reporting, master schedule printing and navigation tools such as bookmarks and customizable icons.
Additional functionality related to teacher medication administration also helps address specific operational needs within schools.
Individually, these enhancements may appear small. Collectively, however, they represent meaningful improvements to the tasks that administrators, teachers and staff perform throughout the school year.
